What does a translation cost?
The price of a translation depends on a number of factors:
- The type of text
- How the text is delivered
- The desired delivery date of the translation
- Whether or not the translation must be sworn
The final price is generally determined by the number of words in the translation. I always agree a total price with you, so there are no unpleasant surprises afterwards.
In the case of certain types of document, such as a Portuguese or Brazilian birth certificate, a Brazilian Certificate of No Impediment or a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), I do not apply a rate per word but rather a total price per document.
