Enrolled in the Rbtv (Registry of Sworn Interpreters and Translators) of the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice as a sworn translator and interpreter of Portuguese

The Sworn Interpreters and Translators Act (Wbtv) has been in force in the Netherlands since 1 January 2009. The Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators is charged by the Minister of Security and Justice with the implementation of the Sworn Interpreters and Translators Act.

The 'Legal Translation in Criminal Proceedings' study programme is a high-level specialised professional training. The SIGV (Association of Court Interpreters and Legal Translators) was founded in 1988 in response to an urgent need for better interpreting and translating work in the courts. The SIGV started up specialised study programmes for interpreters and translators with the aim of improving the quality and positioning of interpreters and translators with the judicial authorities.

The NGTV is the largest professional association for interpreters and translators in the Netherlands, with almost 1,200 members.
